a) To promote the study of film as an art and as a medium of information and education.
b) To promote the development of film appreciation among the public in general.
c) To influence the film industry towards production of films of artistic excellence conductive to the good of the society.
d) To promote the growth of film society and Cine Club movement in general.
e) To produce films of artistic and scientific nature conductive to the good of the society either individually or in a collaboration with others.
f) To hold meetings, conferences, lecturers, seminars and discussions, and to arrange film shows, in regular basis.
g) To establish and maintain libraries and reading rooms as an integral part of the club which will remain open to the public.
h) To publish books, periodicals, reports, articles etc. related to film.
i) To establish and maintain contacts with similar organisations and institutions of national and international character.
j) To collect funds by way of subscriptions, donations, screening of films, sale of programmes at such shows and to extend them for the promotion of the above objects.
k) To make rules and regulations as may be decided upon by the Executive Committee with the approval of Registrar of societies for improving the activities and running the club smoothly.
l) To take any other suitable action as may be incidental and conductive to the attainment of the objects of the society or any of them.
m) To do all social welfare activities and to observe the birthdays of the greatmen of the country and red Letter Days in order to uplift the morality of the members of the society.
n) The incomes and properties of the society whatsoever derived or obtained shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objects of the society and no portion there of shall be paid to or divided among any of its members by way of profit.
